Tip of the Iceberg Festival

Enjoy a full-day of entertainment as Jeff Stuart & The Hearts perform as part of the first-ever “Tip of The Iceberg Festival” on January 29th, 2012 at Sir Winston Churchill Square in Edmonton. The Hearts play at 7:00 p.m. sharp.

We’re excited to announce that Equal Parts Reason and Moonlight is coming out this fall.
There are a few shows lined-up to help launch the album:
Edmonton, Nov 18 @ Pawnshop with Manraygun and Scenic Route to Alaska, Calgary, Dec 1 @ Broken City with Ghostkeeper and Lethbridge, Dec 2 @ The Slice with Colleen Brown.

There is no doubt that this highly anticipated record, Equal Parts Reason and Moonlight has big shoes to fill in the wake of The Hearts’ 2009 debut, Black Dogs Blue Giants, which received significant national acclaim and was credited for “upping the ante for independent Canadian music” (CBC Radio). Although it opened doors to many unique opportunities and helped the band become established, there is no doubt that it was just the beginning.

Equal Parts Reason and Moonlight is a moody rollercoaster ride that tells a very intriguing musical story from start to finish – a story that has never been told quite like this before. These nine remarkable tracks truly become an ‘album’, that is an imaginative, expressive, and vivid portrayal of Jeff Stuart and The Hearts’ infectious melodies, charming vocals, and standout arrangements and musicianship.
